About the event
A talk on pursuing your own adventures;
Modern day life is busy.
The idea of planning a 30 day expedition that no one has ever done, while balancing everything else sounds impossible, but it is possible and sometimes it’s what makes everything else worth it.
This talk runs through how a big adventure started from a joke over coffee, and progressed into balancing the job of expedition planning, with a full-time job, alongside training 2 hours a day. It looks at the fine line between perseverance and obsession, the question of risk taking, and the potentially life changing rewards of pursuing your goals.
