Life is an adventure

I have always been in love with mountains and nature, it's always been a source of inspiration and motivation for me. Over the last few years that has developed into a wider interest in sports and nature; studying for a sports diploma, reading widely about sports science, thinking carefully about how I eat and train . I strongly feel that this connection, and my adventures put me in a great mindset and position for the rest of life.

It started with sleeping out in the woods below our garden at age 6, moved on to learning to climb with old ships ropes and nuts for protection, then learning to ski by dragging old pieste skis up mountains and controlled falling down, but in the last few years my biggest achievements have been setting the UK record for the 'hardest ski race in the world',  climbing and naming a new peak in the Himalaya and running a number of ski mountaineering expeditions. I have recently gotten into competitive mountain running and am enjoying exploring this new discipline.

I have a long list of projects that I would like to do, races I would like to compete, but most of all I want to continue to spend many days in the mountains and wilderness's with amazing people around me. I am very lucky to have amazing support through various companies, friends and family.
